Aleykutty Manchiyil Joseph

Aleykutty (Alice) Joseph Packal, Age 83, died Monday July 11, 2022 in Kenner, LA. Born in Kadavoor (Manchiyil House) Kerala, India. She was the daughter of Xavier Mathai and Elizabeth Mathai, and sister to seven siblings. Married to the late Joseph Packal. They moved to Chicago, IL, USA on March 31st, 1974. Their final move was to their home in South Florida in April 1978. Following the death of Joseph Packal, she resided in Gainesville, FL before spending her final days with family in Kenner, LA. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and retired nurse in the South Florida community. She is survived by her sister: Sister Gervina, daughters: Saji and Jisa Packal, sons-in-law: Anil Thomas and Austin Chempakasseril-Thomas, grandchildren: Sajani, Rhea, Aruna, Thomas, Joseph, and Philip. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 16th, 10:00 am at St. Madeleine Church, 17155 NW US Hwy 441, High Springs, FL 32643.
