A time to be born: Angie Brewer was born in Gainesville, Florida on January 9, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Brewer and Rosa Lee Brewer. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Rachel Cameron, Lillie McGee, and Gloria Thomas.
A time to live: Angie was employed by the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority for five years, Dr. Freddie Scoucar for approximately 20 years, and by Tacachale for 26 years until she retired. She was loving mother to her children; Valerie Jenkins, Deborah Cunningham-Johnson, Sonja Brown, Edra Mount (Rodney), Rosalee Vanessa Williams, Michelle Johnson all of Gainesville, FL, Loycie Cue (Lynn) of Raeford, North Carolina, Sidney Barton, Arago Welch, Willie Clyde Johnson Jr., Albert Carter, Tilmer Carter, and Troy Welch (Nolisa) of Summerville, South Carolina. A special grandson and great- granddaughter, Delmetre and Nilanti Barton of Gainesville, Florida, whom she raised.
Angie leaves behind her sisters; Katie Lee Ross, Sonja Kirksey, Audrey Aldridge of Gainesville, Florida; her brother, Arthur Craig Brewer of Jacksonville, FL. She leaves to mourn, 66 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends, Sonya, Viola Davis, Cynthia Scott Graham, all of Williston, FL, and sorrowing friends.
