Calvin Wesley Dockens

Calvin Wesley Dockens was born on November 29, 1963 in Gainesville, Florida to the late LarcilliousDockens and Lola B. Lyons. 

He was educated in the Alachua County school system where he graduated from Eastside High School in 1982.

He worked at UF Health Shands for many years. He also worked at ARC Mental Health. 

On October 11, 2023 he went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Calvin leaves memories to be cherished by his daughter, Alanah Dockens, Eight (8) sisters, Louise Dockens, Sharon (Larry) Thomas, Ann (Billy) Daniels, Maya Brown, Janice White, Dorothy (Melvin) Smith, Annette (Robert) Thomas, and Shirley Smith. He also leaves five (5) loving brothers, Evans (Beatrice) Wright, James Brown, Jose Brown, Johnny (Christine) Brown, all of Gainesville, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, caring colleagues and friends.
