CORLORIS "WADE" JOHNSON, Also known as Carlos or Cari to many, was welcomed into the world by Dorothy Johnson Scott and Emmitt Wade on September 17, 1975.
Cari lit up every room with his smile, his silliness, and his love for dancing with family. He found joy in the little things, including early morning fishing trips, cheering for the Florida Gators, and making others laugh. Though he's gone way too soon, his worth and joy will live on in every heart he touched.
Though Cari's journey on this earth ended on Thursday, August 28, 2025, his story lives on through his children and family, who carry his love, laughter, and legacy. Death was not the end, but a passage into peace. His spirit lives on in every smile, every memory, and every life he touched.
Carlos was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Geneva Johnson; brothers, Nathaniel Foye, Jr., and Jarrell Calhoun; and sister, Elena Wade.
Carlos leaves behind a great legacy and cherished memories to; his father, Emmitt Wade; mother, Dorothy Johnson Scott; children, Jarvis Young, Tacari Johnson, and Caiden Johnson; sisters, Donnett Booker Foye, Sharelle Wade, and Alicia Wade; and brothers, Kenny Wade, Emmitt Wade, Jr., and Demetrius Wade; in addition to a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
