Charles Edward Jamison

Charles E. Jamison Sr., was born on March 26, 1949, to Mulvata and Charlie Jamison. He attended Lincoln High School and Florida State University before moving to Miami with his wife, Altonese. He worked at Ceco Construction and Krispy Kreme Donuts before becoming a truck driver for Mayflower, where he bought his 18-wheeler. He retired in 2015.

Charles received his crown from our heavenly father on August 19, 2023, and was preceded in death byhis mother, Mulvata Jamison; father, Charlie Jamison; sister, Betty Sheridan; and two children, Chitquita Jamison and Tr’e Clark.

Charles left his cherished memories to: his wife of forty-five years, Altonese Jamison; he left his legacy to his children;  Keith Adkins (Suaann Adikin) of Jacksonville, FL, Girard Young, Charles E. Jamison, Jr., Cleveland Jamison, Christopher Jackson Jamison, and Jamariay Jamison, all of Gainesville, FL, Deidre Kirland of Huntersville, NC, Fontalla Jamison of Gainesville, FL, Kenya Diggs (Stanly) of Lawrenceville, GA, and Samantha Jamison and Charlene Roman, both of Gainesville, FL; and a host of grandchildren,

great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
