Daniel Fosin May

Daniel "Danny" Fosin May, 54, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Jacksonville, FL after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. Daniel's passing in March is especially poignant, occurring during Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month and on what would have been his grandmother Bernice's birthday.

Music was Daniel's secret superpower he could make almost any instrument speak, sing. Danny served as drum major for the marching band, and he carried that musical flair throughout his life.

Danny was a Mason and later earned a degree in Project Construction, applying his intelligence and creativity to his work and life. Above all else, he loved his son deeply, finding his greatest joy and pride in fatherhood.

He is survived by his loving parents, Ernest I. May and Carol F. May; his brothers, Michael May and Sean May; and his sisters, Rebecca May, Jennifer May, Michelle May, and Kim May. He is also survived by his son, Joshuah May (Aileen), and his cherished grandchildren, Josh Jr. and Aura.
