Deacon David Curtis was born on March 17, 1943, to the late George Curtis, Sr., and Rosa Lee Ragin Curtis. He married his lovely wife, Sister Nadean W. Curtis, in 1993.
Husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, his grace, David Curtis. We can celebrate that he is now reunited with God, where there is no more pain or sorrow. His stories and laughter will forever be etched in our hearts.
Deacon Curtis was a blessing for over 82 years, a man who loved to praise God and loved his family, especially his wife and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Minister George Curtis, Jr., Sylvester Curtis, Sr., Johnny Curtis, Sr., Mother Laura Jackson, Letha Royal, Rosa Lee Mahamery, Mary Hayes, Apostle Nathaniel Curtis, and Mother Elouise Curtis Richardson.
Memories o f Deacon Curtis will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Sister Nadean W. Curtis; children, Van Curtis, Davie Curtis, Steve Ross, and Barbara Jean-Jackson; brother, Bishop Hiram Curtis, Sr.; fifteen grand children and ten great-grand children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
