Elizabeth A. Graham was born on January 15, 1943 in Maxville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Valine Ducree Rutledge and Jessie Anders.
Elizabeth worked many years with the Alachua County School Board. She later became a homemaker and served as a godmother to many.
Liz was high spirited. A mother to many, bringing joy, laughter and love to everyone. She had an incredibly generous heart and she dedicated her life to helping others. She never met a stranger. She touched so many lives. Also, Liz loved to cook for gatherings of her family and friends. She enjoyed shing, music and loved to dance. She will never be forgotten. Her unwavering helpfulness was a testament to her boundless compassion and her love for the lord shone through in her selfless acts of kindness.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Valine Ducree Rutledge; father, Jessie Anders; grandmother, Alice McCray; sister, Cathy Ann Robinson; and brother, James Hampton Young, Jr.
Elizabeth Graham departed this life on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, at the Haven Hospice, surrounded by family.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one biological daughter, Shannon Durham (Royce); daughter, Tee Mabry; son, Roderick Mabry, all of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren, Adrian Carter, Jakarious Mabry, Jimari Motes, Calvin Mabry, Jamari Mabry, Roderick Mabry Jr., and Kingsley Mabry; great grandchild, Lauryn Miller; sisters, Johnnie Mae omas, Carolyn Hill and Tammy Rutledge, all of Gainesville, FL, Jessie Mae Wiord ,and Tammy Anders of Palatka, FL; brother, Leon Anders (Carla) of Palatka, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and sorrowing friends.
