Elizabeth Oats Obituary

Ms. Elizabeth (Lulu) Louise Clark-Oats was born on Monday, January 31, 1972, to the late Willie and Ella Johnson Clark in Gainesville, Florida. She grew up and attended public school in Fernandina Beach and Lawtey, Florida. She later graduated and received her diploma and License of Cosmetology from the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia. Lulu Will be remembered for her bubbly personality and humor. She loved working as a cosmetologist until illness no longer permitted her.
She loved smiling, joking, laughing, and having fun. She had a passion for people and was always ready to assist others. Lulu lovedher family and those little angels she called grandchildren. Lulu enjoyed church and loved her church family. Lulu was a fighter,and we can hear her saying, “I fought a good fight, I have finished the race, and I remained faithful. Lulu was preceded in death by her father, Willie Clark; grandparents, Benjamin and Sadie Clark and Willie Mae Johnson; uncles, Benjamin Clark, Jr., Timothy Clark, and Jimmie Lee Johnson; and aunts, Sadie Johnson Bryant and Margie Johnson.


Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory: her five loving children, Brian Clark, Deja Fleming, Demetrius Oats, Jr., Jerrod Oats, and Deshawn Oats; mother, Ella Clark; stepmom, Annette Clark; grandchildren, Brian Clark, Jr., Mason Oats, Jerrod Oats, Jr., Amia Clark, and Brenton Clark; siblings, Pamela N. Clark, Andrea Clark, Marlaina Johnson, and Willie Clark, Jr.; nephews, Joseph Beard, Jr., Isaiah Clark, Timothy Beard, Vincent Baker, Jr., Tyreke Williams, Terrynce Williamson, Terric Williamson, DeJon Clark, King Clark, Kash and Kase Clark, Timmareon Beard, and Damir and Da’Caury Lync; nieces, Ellie and Amira Lorenzo, Ravious Hardy Lorenzo (Sergio), Lamaria Clark, Andrea Collier, Terryana Williamson, Ny’keria Clark, Tatyana Baker, Neriah Clark, Elysian Middleton, Birdie Baker, and Timmani Beard; uncles, Edwin Clark (Mary Ann), Stanley Clark, and Wayne Clark; aunts, Dora Anderson, Vivian Clark, Patricia Clark, Inez Majors, and Pamela Clark; special daughters, Zaria and Zakeya Johnson and Amari Forrest; special cousins, a.k.a. sisters, Charlene Davis and Melissa Clark; and a host of sorrowing cousins and friends.
