It was early in the morning on Monday, January 9, 2023, that the Lord granted His faithful servant, Evangelist Eloise Small, complete victory as she finished her course and quietly slept away into the presence of the Lord at her home in Alachua, Florida.
Eloise was born on June 16, 1963
to the late Eddie Budd Williams and Florence Brown. Eloise received her education in the Alachua County school district.
She fell in love with and enchanted the heart of Felix Small Jr. in the summer of 1995. On the twelfth day of February 1996 they were united in holy matrimony. The Lord blessed this union with over 28 years and 11 children who brought love, happiness, adventure, and delight into her life.
She faithfully served for many years at Divine Destiny International Ministries of Alachua FL, under the leadership of Apostle Terric & Pastor Shameika Nattiel. She served on the Hospitality Committee, the Ministerial Staff and the Evangelism Board.
She was a skillful chef who loved cooking and feeding the hungry. Thus, she became the proud founder of "Traveling Angles" Outreach Ministries. She faithfully cooked, served and did daily outreach throughout Alachua County.
Her home was always available to all who needed a place for rest, clothing, food and prayer. Thereby, she became affectionately known as either "Ma", "Momma" or "Mom" to all. She was not just a mother to her 11 children, but she was a mother to the body of Christ and to all who was graced with her presence.
To have known Evangelist Eloise Small is to have experienced the unconditional love of Christ. She will never be forgotten and she'll forever live on as we apply the life lessons that she taught with her life.
Her legacy will forever live in the hearts of: her husband, Felix Small, Jr.; daughters, Lenora Martin, LaToya Martin-Keith, Lashonda Martin (Tammerall), Ashley small, Shameka Small, Katrina Small; sons, Willie Spann (Marcia), Louis Martin jr., Felix Davis, Aaron Small, Larry Small; mother, Florence Brown; brother, Bud Williams (Michelle); sisters, Dorothy Williams and Renesa Gatlin; sister-in-laws, Connie Small, Sandra Benton (David), Margarett Johnson, Deborah Small, and Patricia Small-Wilson (Frederick); uncles, Sammy Brown, Eld L.B.
