Faye Anita Strickland

On Thursday, May 19, 2023 at 2:37 pm, Faye was called home. Faye was born in Gainesville, Florida on April 13, 1952 to Geraldine Strickland and John Peterson, both preceded her in death. Faye was full of life with a great personality and a beautiful smile. She enjoyed life and meeting new people.
Faye joined Greater Bethel at an early age. Although Faye didn’t have any children of her own, she loved kids. She helped raise her nieces and nephews.
Faye Graduated from Gainesville High School. She attended Santa Fe College. Faye received her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. She worked as a CNA in Gainesville.
Faye had a passion for the great outdoors. She enjoyed camping with her friends. Faye loved sports and attended various sporting activities in support of her family (football, basketball, track & field).
Her favorite colors were blue and purple.

 Faye’s memories will be carried on by her seven brothers: John E. Peterson II, John Peterson III, James Peterson, Michael P. Fair (Suzette), Roderick A. Fair (Felicia), Rodney Peterson, and George P. Strickland (Robin) of Gainesville, Fl, and seven sisters Bonnie Ward of Lake Park Ga, Carol E. Strickland of Gainesville, Fl, Antionette Beacham (Greg) of Clint Maryland, Lynette Petrerson, Jackie Strappy, Dr. Freida Strickland, Belinda Strickland of Gainesville, Fl. Faye had one sister to precede her in death Janice Strickland-Palmer. She also leaves a host of sorrowing Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
