The family of Gwendolyn Richardson, aka Joan, regrets to announce her passing on Monday, August 21, 2023, in Savannah, Georgia. She was born to Benjamin (deceased) and Estelle Elliott on July 19, 1954. She was a longtime employee at the Little Switzerland Park Store/Main Street.
Gwendolyn was preceded by death by her father, Benjamin Elliott, and her brother, Charles Elliott.
Gwendolyn is survived by her loving family: mother Estelle Elliott, children: Michelle VanBeverhoudt and Danielle Richardson-Noel, grandchildren: Michai Noel, Moniqua Hunte, Moniesha, and Malik VanBeverhoudt, great grand: Mariah and Madisyn Hunte, sons-in-law: Marvin VanBeverhoudt Jr and Michael Noel, sisters: Paulette Burroughs, Calmeta Rosa Matthew, Oreta Liburd and Cynthia Stoutt, brother: Mervin Elliott, sister-in-law: Priscilla Elliott, brothers-in-law: Anthony Liburd and Melborne Stoutt, nieces: Latoya Burroughs, Kiesha Matthew-Carpenter, and Cleo Elliott, Nephews: Kevin Burroughs, Jamoy Slack, Terawn Liburd, Lionel Elliott, Shavon, Sharvelle and Sharnelle Stoutt, great niceces: Maxine Carpenter, Kyla Burroughs and Nia’mya Lettsome, great-nephews: Malcolm Carpenter, Keyon and Kalon Burroughs, Khyro and Caleb Elliott, Special friends: Bernadette Pinney, Phroma Riley, Lousia Dickson, Althea Richardson, and Yvonne Wenck. Other relatives and friends are too numerous to mention.
The memorial services will be held at Kingdom Life International on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10 am.
