Obituary

Hettie Iona Means Witherspoon was born on November 18, 1932 to the late Isiah Means and Rebirda Means Johnson in Archer, FL. Mrs. Witherspoon attended Archer High School and received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age.

 

Mrs. Hettie Witherspoon transitioned peacefully on April 16, 2023 at Williston Health & Rehabilitation Center in Williston, Florida.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories: sisters, Emma Means Wade of Archer, FL; brother, Gilbert S. Means Sr. (Jerald) of  Gainesville, FL;  sister-in-laws, Adell Means and Agnes Witherspoon; God daughter, Mae France Norse of Orlando, FL; devoted nieces, Gloria Atkins, Sharon Hill of Archer, FL, Cassandra Ross (Reginald), Toni Glover (Hampton) of Ocala, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
