Isaiah Joe Robinson, Jr.

Isaiah Joe Robinson, Jr., son of the late Isaiah Robinson, Sr., and Eartha Stockton-Bing, slipped away peacefully from this Earth to the arms of the Lord on August 12, 2023. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Gloria Jean

Robinson.

Isaiah, known by all as “Ike,” was born in Ocala, Florida, on October 7, 1954. He moved to Gainesville in the early 1970s where he began his career as an 18-wheeler long-distance truck driver, traveling to almost every state in the

country. Ike was an avid Gator fan, and he will be missedby all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to mourn: his children, Anzaveain Robinson(Tenecia) of Raleigh, NC, Isaiah “Squeaky” Robinson II (Lilanti), Antonio Robinson of Gainesville, FL, Patrick Robinson of Tampa, FL, Derrick Robinson (April), Jessie Cooper, and LaTasha Bailey; siblings; Joyce Law (Edward)

d, Leonard Robinson (Sarah) of Ocala, FL, Kenneth Robinson (Diane), Maragret Donaldson, and Kimberly Bing; grandchildren, Jacquaveain, Jarquez, Iyonna, Darius, Xavier, Dylon “Dude”, Anarai, Diamond, and ten other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Kody, and Kamden; special friends, sister-in-law, Diane L. Moultrie; and his buddy “Pete”; and a host of nieces,

nephews, cousins, and friends.
