James B. Thompson, known to his family and friends as “B” and “B-Nasty”, began his life story on February 13, 1975 in Gainesville, Florida to the union of the late James and Ethel Thompson.
He attended public schools in Alachua County (Lake Forest Elementary, Westwood Middle School, and Buchholz High School). He worked in different odd jobs, enjoying the variety of life, and the thrill of learning new trades and traveling. He was a licensed Barber who cut hair wherever he lived.
James’ Christian walk began during his early childhood at Williams Temple Family Church. His personal relationship with God gave him continued strength and courage to live his life without fear and the ability to love unconditionally. As a result, of his pleasant spirit and generous personality, he was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Ethel Thompson, and brother, John Thompson.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories: his children, Deandre Thompson, Jamal Thompson, Kayla Davis (Jimeck), Christopher Thompson, Marques Houston and Jaylen Thompson; grandchildren, Kemoni, Kelan, Ava, Truth, JimeckJr., Legacy, Jheyd, Jayce, and Tyler; siblings, James Thompson, Eli Thompson, Michael Thompson, Markeisha Thompson; special cousin, Donald Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.
