Joyce Ann McGill- Wells

Ms. Joyce was born in Gainesville, FL onNovember 27, 1969 at Shands Hospital and was raised in Archer, FL. She attended Alachua County Schools and was employed at Burger King. She was the type of person to leave a lasting impression on every person she encountered.

Joyce was a true example of strength, love, loyalty, and compassion.

On January 27, 2024, she departed this life.

She is survived by; her father, Abraham McGill, Sr.; sons, Alphonso C. Wells Jr. and Keondre A. Wells Sr.; grandchildren, Amara Wells, Delilah Wells, Keon’ii Wells, Keondre A. Wells Jr.; sisters, Catrina Peeples, Luella Webb, Gloria McGill, Lucy McGill, Priscilla Amos, Gayle Brown; brothers, Cleveland McGill, Abraham McGill, Abraham McGill Jr.; former husband, Alphonso Wells Sr.; godchildren, Breana Jackson, Shardae Wells, Alexis Wells, Tiara Wells, Victoria Wells; daughter in-laws, Brittany Blum and Nakiya Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
