Kathlyn B. McCullar

On January 1, 2023 our Father decreed and called His beloved daughter, Kathlyn B. McCullar home to rest. Kathlyn was known best as “Kat” lived in Miramar Beach, FL. She was born on September 30, 1966 toparents Robert Eugene Boykins and Mary Frances Williams. Kat was a graduate ofSanta Fe College and pursued a bachelor's degree from Liberty University in which she was just a few credits shy of graduating.  Throughout her life, Kat held many employment positions, but recently retired from UnitedHealthcare as a Claims Lead.  If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Kat, you were instantly captivated by her amazing smile, multifaceted way of communicating, the warmth of her soul, and the depth of her knowledge. She was a no-nonsense type of person and didn’t mind telling anyone what she really felt about them. She was fierce, confident, and always knew where she was going in life. Every challenge life threw her way, she facedit head on, never backing down. Throughout her life, her words that she lived by: “Get your house in order!” “Live your truth!” “Know your worth!” Kat loved theLord, living life out loud unapologetically, her husband, children, and siblings.She worked tirelessly to spread the Gospel to anyone who would listen until the day the Father called her home. Kat’s last words would be, “Don’t cry for me, I’m where I belong. I want you to be happy and try to stay strong. Don’t cry for me, for I have no fear. All my pain is gone, andJesus took my tears. Don’t cry for me, this is not the end. I’ll be waiting here for you when we meet again.” Kat was proceeded in death by: her father, Robert Eugene Boykins; mother, Mary Frances Williams;sisters, Jacqueline Boykins and Gloria Gilliam. Kat leaves to mourn: her beloved husband, Larry McCullar of Miramar, FL; children, TavaresBoykins Sr. (Cara), Towshanda Hill, and Trevonti Nicholas; grandchildren,Tavares Jr., Trevon, Tyrell, Talik, Christopher, Malia, Josiah, and IsaiahBoykins; sisters, Lakeatrice Williams-White (Kelvin), Janie, Kim, Gwen, andMillie Boykins, Jacqueline Williams – McKenzie; special cousin/sister, Sharon Gadson(Robert); brothers, Lyndon Boykins Sr., Jon Williams Sr., Ronnie Williams Sr.(Lauren), Timothy Williams Sr., Marc Williams Sr., Robert Boykins, HenryBoykins, Michael Boykins, James Boykins, and Charles Boykins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
