Kendrick Lavon Walker was born on December 30, 1978 in Gainesville, FL to Mary A.
Walker and Eugene Walker. He was the second child born to this union. Kendrick
grew up in Live Oak, FL and later relocated to Gainesville, FL in his teenage years. He
was educated in the Suwannee County & Alachua County School Systems.
Kendrick enjoyed doing landscaping, which he did for many years. Some of his
favorite times were spending time with his family, laughing and listening to
"old skool" music. Kendrick was a diehard Gator football fan.
Kendrick accepted the Master's call and entered his eternal rest on Friday, July 15,
2022. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev Leroy and Lola
Walker of Live Oak, FL, Mr. Marshall Wilson Sr. of Gainesville, FL and his partner,
Marjorie Annette Stacy.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted parents, Mrs. Mary Ann Walker of
Gainesville, FL and Eugene Walker of Live Oak, FL; his stepmother, Wendy Walker of
Live Oak, FL; his siblings, Kimberly and Ebony Walker of Gainesville, FL, Eric Walker o
Live Oak, FL, Emmanuel Walker of Orlando, FL, Dominique Walker of Ft. Lauderdale,
FL; his nephews, Michael Williams and Devonte Reddick of Gainesville, FL; his nieces,
Mikala O'Neal of Orlando, FL and Latasha Hayward of Gainesville, FL; a special
cousin, Travis Durr of Gainesville, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.
