Mikyh Tylor White, on Saturday September 9th, 2023, was robbed of his life at the young age of 19. Mikyh Tylor White, more affectionately known as "Kyh" was born on April 1st, 2004, to his parents, Nijah and Taylor White. Mikyh graduated from Paxon School for Advanced Studies, Class of 2022. Mikyh was a brilliant kid, consistently making the honor roll and he soon adopted the nickname "The Professor" by family for his brilliance, witty attitude, and vast vocabulary. Mikyh had a love and passion for stock trading and making music. His loving and trustworthy spirit made being around him a complete joy. He had an electrifying energy with a contagious and radiant smile. Mikyh was raised in church and had an undeniable love for God. Starting at the age of 3, Mikyh would dress up every Saturday morningin his Bibleman costume and would be glued to the television as he watched his favorite superhero battle corruption in the world with biblical truth. Mikyh loved attention and decided he wanted to be in front of the camera.
At the age of 15, Mikyh told his mom he wanted to become an actor, so she sprang into action, got him connected with a casting director, and started traveling all over the country with him to auditions. Mikyh got his 1st big speaking role in Atlanta shortly after. He was part of a health education video created to teach kids about the dangers of underage drinking. This video is still being shown to kids across Atlanta in various school districts today. He has also starred in music videos and had several other TV roles, including a background role in an episode of the Starz Series, BMF. Mikyh was wise beyond his years. He was always learning, growing, seeking knowledge and understanding, and challenging everything he did not understand. Kyh didn’t have a chance to fully make his mark on the world, but in the short time that we were blessed with him on earth, he impacted so many lives, many known to him, and some unknown until now. He had a light that can never be dimmed, and his amazing spirit will live on forever.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted parents, Nijah and Taylor White, sister, Senai White; grandmother, Cathy Ferdinand; grandfather, Malcolm Triche; great grandmother, Ruth Ferdinand; aunts, Shailah Ferdinand, Ta’Kiyah Butler (Addamm), Yonka Clark (Ryan), Alicia Sebastian, Andrea Robinson (Dani), Na’Tashia Tate (Shawn), and Jane McMaster; uncles, Dr. James White (Dr. Terresa), Darrin White, Jason McMaster, and Andre Mingo. He also leaves a host of great aunts, uncles, friends, and close cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Holden and Jacquelyn Johnson & maternal grandfather William Lee, and paternal uncle and aunt Jasper and Patrice White. Mikyh is dearly missed and loved by his family. Gone but never forgotten!
