Nicholas Lee Gill

Nicholas "Nick" Gill was born and raised in Norman, OK by his father Truman Franklin Gill and Viola Reba Calvert.  He grew up on a farm with a brother and sister who have both predeceased him. 

Nick played football in high school and was very athletic.  He briefly worked for OG&E as a line man before moving to Florida and worked for Southern Bell as a lineman.  Nick was also an Army veteran and served 2 years overseas in Germany.  He attended the University of Florida part-time where he earned his bachelor's degree. 

After working over 20 years for the Bell telephone company, Nick moved to San Francisco and got into telecommunication sales.  He then went on to manage the communication lines for NASA at Johnson Space Center before retiring to Micanopy, Florida, Granite Shoals, TX and finally to Keystone Heights, FL. 

Nick is survived by his son, Jonathan Harvey, daughter, Diedra Harvey, as well as 2 nieces and a nephew.  He was a man of God and spoke to him daily.  He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
