Ora Lee Violet Williams was born to Adell B. Means and the late Theodore Brown, Sr., on March 28, 1950 in Alachua County, Florida. She accepted Christ at an early age. Later she joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Alachua County Public School System. She attended Santa Fe Community College where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Ora worked 25 years at Alachua General Hospital (AGH) and 13 years at North Florida Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by seven of her siblings.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories with: her devoted husband, Oscar Williams Sr.; mother, Adell B. Means of Gainesville, FL; only daughter, Patricia Baker of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Serenity Alston, Gainesville, FL; sisters, Della Ross of Alachua, FL, Brenda Phillip (Bernard) of Gainesville, FL, Patricia Wiggins of Archer, FL; brothers, Theodore Brown Jr. ( Mary), Fredrick Harold Brown (Josephine), both of Alachua, FL, Wayne “Sonny” Means (Danielle) of Valdosta, GA; brother-in-law, Carl Williams (Angela), Michael Whitehead (Sylvia), all of Alachua, FL; sister-in-law, Kathy Cujo, Michelle Hathocc (Karl), Evon Williams, all of Gainesville, FL; and a host of sorrowing family and friends.
