Rose Gainey Mobley, age 73, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025. Rose was raised in a loving Christian home by her parents and was a lifelong resident of Gainesville, FL. She had one sister, Carrie Mae Jackson, who preceded her in death.
Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Rose lived a life filled with compassion, love, and laughter, and she touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Her treasured memory will live on in the hearts of her devoted husband, Kicky Mobley; loving children, Dwain Howell, Dalain Howell (Melissa), Natasha Morris, Jacquay Banjo (Kingsley), and Narika Mobley; grandchildren, Jacquise, Dalayna, Niala, Nyquan, Jaelana, Janessa, Kaleb, Daniel, Rayonna, Dalain Jr., Dalain, Tiffanie, and Malai; as well as ten great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
A repast is scheduled at Compassionate Outreach Ministries Multipurpose Building, 1124 NE 3rd Ave, Gainesville, FL.
