Ross David Carey

Ross David Carey, 56, of Gainesville Florida, passed away on 11/09/2024, at his apartment after enduring kidney failure for sixteen years along with a multitude of other health conditions. Born on September 8th, 1968, in Winchester Massachusets, he was the son of Maryann and Leo Carey.

Ross was a beloved father and is survived by Victor Carey and Sydney Carey. Leo, Maryann, and Steven Carey predeceased him.

Throughout his life, Ross was known for his devotion to his two children, his selflessness, humor, strength, and perseverance through the most difficult times. He had a passion for food, surfing, basking in the sun, and looking after his two beloved children which was his greatest passion of all. His strength, leadership, and fervor for life touched all who knew him.
