Sharon Jenkins

Sharon Yvette Hutchinson-Jenkins, affectionately known as “Bama”, was born June 25, 1957, to

the late Oran C. Hutchinson and Easter Louise Bess Hutchinson. Sharon graduated from Santa

Fe High School, Class of 1975. Sharon accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a

member of Passage Family Church. She retired from JCPenney Department Store. During her

retirement, she was employed with Cuddly Kids Academy and The Oak Tree Early Learning

Academy. She departed this earthly world on July 17, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oran C. Hutchinson and Easter Louise Bess

Hutchinson; son, Tyre Jenkins; daughter, Krystal Jenkins; brother, Justin Hutchinson; her

children's father, Dwight Jenkins.

Houston, TX; brothers, Willie Hutchinson, Orlando, FL, Rufus Hutchinson, George Dix Jr.

(Michele) both of Gainesville, FL, Vernon Jenkins (Margaret Ann), Horace Jenkins, Derell

Jenkins (Equilla) all of Alachua, FL; aunts, Viola Johnson of Leesburg, FL; Frances Wilson of Lake City, FL; uncles, Willie Bright of Philadelphia, PA, Willard Reid of Gainesville, FL; 11

grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godsisters,

godbrothers, godchildren, and sorrowing friends.
