Mrs. Sherrian Elaine Thomas was born February 10, 1960, to the late Reverend Gladys Flowers and Booker T. Lyons Sr. in Gainesville, FL.
A Time to Live
Sherrian affectionately known to most as “Sharon” and to her close friends as “Tight.” She never met a stranger. She loved life and lived it! Her sense of humor was infectious. Her smile always light up any room or space.
Education: Alachua county Public Schools, Gainesville High School Class of 1978. University of Florida. Bachelor's Degree in Business. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Black Hatters

Marriage: Reginald Thomas June 13, 1992
Work: HRS, Department of Corrections as a Probation officer for 30 years. Most recently she came out of retirement and returned to do clerical work.
Religious Affiliation: Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church
Extracurricular: Gainesville Black Hat Divas, Duval Heights Community

Her mother Gladys Flowers preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her father: Booker T. Lyons Sr., A loving and devoted husband Reginald Thomas, daughter: Asha Thomas, step-children: Jeffery Thomas (Nikki), Candice Thomas, sisters: Donna Price (Jimmy), Clorretta Thorton (Charles), Keesha Kimbrel (Alex), TiffiniCineus (Gerald) brothers: Booker T. Lyons Jr. (Terri), John Flowers Jr.(Courtney), , Mother in law: Juanita McGlon, Sister in Law: Toni Lee- Harris, grandchildren: Asa Hall and Devion Johnson Jr., god-children: Reginald James II and Johntavious Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and close friends.
