Susie M. Walters passed away peacefully at home on October 5, 2022 surrounded by her daughter, Sharon and grandson, Ronald. Susie was born in Richmond, Virginia on March 2, 1944 to Joseph Walters, Sr. and Ida M. Harris – Walters.
Susie was preceded in death by her father and mother; siblings,Joseph Jr., Clarence, Nathaniel “Nae Boy”, Timothy “Big Tim” Walters, Edward Rolax, Sr., and Jerry Rolax; grandson, Adrian J. Walters.
She is survived by her only child, Sharon L. Walters and grandson, Ronald A. Lee, Jr.;, great grandchildren, Ayannah, Bralyn, and Ny’kerrya. Bonus children whom she loved as her own, Tammy Williams, Reginald Badley, Leon Cummings, Sr., Melissa Harris, Connie Armound-Strandifer, Harold Price II, Sharon Anderson, Kryshonda Roberson-Williams, Elmer Rollins, Jr. “EJ”, Kelvin White Sr.; siblings, Freddie Rolax, James Rolax, Jr. (St. Petersburg, FL), Betty Walters – Harris, and Carolyn Walter-Hall (Gainesville, FL).
Many nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends. Special friends, Columbus and Daisy Rollins.

Susie was known for being a friend, giver, hard worker, mentor and loving on her family and friends.
She attended Gibbs Junior College in St. Petersburg, FL and University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
Some of her titles were not limited to; seamstress, licensed beautician, intern teacher, social worker, employee at Sunland Training Center (now Tacachale), DCF-Food Stamps, DJJ Counselor, Behavior Program Specialist, and Human Services worker. After her retirement, she became a loyal servant to her community her health failed her.
