Mr. Timothy Eager, 64, passed away on April 24, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on December 3, 1961, to Howard and Marceline (Larkin) Eager.
During his years in South Dakota, Timothy was committed to civic engagement and community service, devoting time on reservations, assisting Native Americans with voter registration efforts. He later enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in South Korea. He also served in the South Dakota Air National Guard. Following his military service, he worked in construction for many years. After moving to Gainesville, Timothy continued, giving back to his community through volunteer work at the University of Florida library.
He will be remembered for his dedication to helping others and his quiet spirit of service.
Timothy is survived by his sisters, Barbara (Merlyn Tideman), Beverly, Jo, and Beth Eager. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Howard and Marceline (Larkin) Eager. Timothy will be laid to rest at South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
